Roku was delivering its first Chicago office with a large, primarily remote internal stakeholder group and highly detailed corporate standards governing design, technology, security, operations, and employee experience.
At the same time, the project was located within a first-generation building, requiring the team to establish much of the infrastructure from the ground up while translating global requirements into local construction.

Roku successfully opened a Chicago workplace that met its global standards while creating an experience specific to the local market.
The completed office combines the infrastructure and consistency expected of a major technology company with a distinctive design rooted in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood.
The result was a true big-tech workplace: globally consistent, highly integrated, and locally relevant.
